The ambience is quiet and calm with luxurious silk drapes polished wood panelling stone flagged floors open fires and a plethora of art and antiques. The 33 guest bedrooms are named after people who lived in the area over the last 100 years. Rooms are fully air conditioned and are WiFi enabled all rooms feature either an 18th Century carved oak or four poster bed. The beautiful bathrooms have Victorian fittings featuring free standing baths and high level cisterns.
